As of the release of iOS 13, almost all Apple devices come with Siri pre-loaded, making Apple’s AI assistant even more ubiquitous than it already was. But while Siri is a helpful tool that most users can find a use for—especially in conjunction with the Shortcuts app—both Siri vets and newbies can get even more out of their iOS devices by using customized Siri shortcuts.
Instead of painstakingly creating your own, however, we suggest importing pre-made custom shortcuts—such as this massive collection of over 150 shortcuts created by developer Matthew Cassinelli. Cassinelli’s collection includes shortcuts that help create complex daily routines; let you dictate, write, and easily edit text in numerous apps; automate important tasks; set up health reminders; optimize your device for media or games, and more—seriously, the entire list is impressive in its breadth.
Cassinelli’s Siri shortcuts are compatible with:
- iPhone
- iPad
- AirPods
- Apple Watch
- HomePod
- CarPlay
You’ll need to import Cassinelli’s shortcuts first in order to use them. You’ll find the full collection hosted on Airtable, with explanations and guidelines for each. Scroll through the list until you find a shortcut you wish to use. Click the link under the shortcut’s “iCloud” column, then click/tap “get shortcut” to import it into your shortcuts app. Once imported, you can access via Siri, or through the Shortcuts app on your device and through iCloud.
