Workshop Tip: Outrigger steadies tablesaw tenon jig

Even if your tablesaw tenoning jig has washers on its miter bar (mine doesn’t), intended to keep it from tipping during operation, it might still be a little wobbly. Adding a simple outrigger to the jig makes it more stable and accurate. Mine has a little shoulder on the back side, so I can attach it with just one bolt through the clamp arm. It also has a notch at the front so it doesn’t limit the clamp arm’s range of adjustment.
